Earrings: Folded paper floret long drop green and copper
Beautiful, extremely lightweight, one of a kind handmade paper earrings.
Each earring is created from 10 pieces of paper that are cut, folded, and glued together. The edges are painted in copper, and resin is painted on as a final step to keep the paper from fading. Resin also adds gloss and strength to the form so that they will not get damaged from everyday wear.
The paper is green with copper lines. Amber beads complete the ends.
These earrings tend to hang with the floret at the base of the earlobe due to the weight of the bead.
They hang 2 inches (4.5 cm) from the bottom of the hook.
The hooks are hypo-allergenic surgical steel. I include rubber stoppers on the back so you can wear them with confidence that you won't loose one.
The florets themselves are approx. 3/4" (1 3/4 cm).
